The DrakX network backend now supports GPRS/Edge/3G/UMTS cards managed by the option (using usbserial) and serial_cs drivers.
It's only a matter of detecting the cards that use this driver, which is automatic for PCMCIA cards appearing on the USB bus and claim they use the option module.
It's a bit more tricky for cards using serial_cs, since this module is rather generic, and manage a lot more than 3G cards. So, I improved our PCMCIA devices detection to use sysfs to read descriptions, and consider the card is 3G powered only if the description matches /GPRS|Edge|3G|UMTS|H.DPA/i.
