While trying to clone module-init-tools'git to review latest changes, I experienced some issues with http fetch in git. It seems broken with curl 7.16.0, so I tried (a few weeks ago) a patch from upstream ML, but I still failed with some corrupted double-linked list IIRC.

Actually, there has been a fix in curl CVS in the meantime, which I have applied in the curl package in cooker.

I'm finally able to have a look at Luiz's module-init-tools commits \o/
